Janet Monda, AIA - Principal

Janet is a graduate of Washington State University, and began her career in Portland, Oregon before moving to the Seattle area and joining AWI. Her professional career spans forty-one years and encompasses a broad range of project types including: animal healthcare facilities, human hospitals, dental clinics, medical offices, outpatient surgery centers, advanced imaging centers, and compounding pharmacies. Janet has completed literally hundreds of in-patient and out-patient healthcare facilities over her career as well as numerous animal healthcare facilities of all types.

In addition to managing our human resources and quality control systems, Janet also directs our programming, design and construction administration teams within the human healthcare field and continues to lead projects within the animal healthcare field as well.

Outside the office Janet enjoys travelling, recreational pickleball and bicycle tours which has included a seven day 210 mile ride through the Czech Republic.
